(Denver, Colorado) –November 7, 2007 – Pharmatech, Inc. is pleased to announce that one of their Project Managers, Heike Newman, MS, MBA, received the Special Recognition Award from the Society of Clinical Research Associates (SoCRA) for her collaboration on an abstract and poster presentation. The poster entitled, Accelerating Oncology Clinical Trial Enrollment in Community-Based Practices: Just-In-Time Approach, was presented at SoCRA’s 16th Annual Conference held in Denver, Colorado from September 27-30, 2007.
The Just-In-Time abstract, authored by Pharmatech Project Managers, Heike Newman, Elizabeth Spradley, and David Bailey, outlines a unique process to streamline site activation and patient enrollment in oncology clinical trials. Heike Newman, states “I am extremely pleased and very excited to receive SoCRA’s special recognition award at this year’s annual conference. It is my hope that clinical research professionals were able to better understand the benefits that the Just- In-Time methodology can offer to the clinical trial process.” The conference attracted more than 1,000 attendees representing those involved in conducting and managing clinical research trials.
